On 20 September 2025, the Hadassah Outreach Program in Eastridge hosted its second annual Women’s Conference, transforming an ordinary Saturday into a day of extraordinary inspiration. The gathering, held in the heart of the community, was designed to celebrate womanhood, uplift spirits, and remind women of their value and collective power.
The atmosphere from the very beginning was vibrant. Laughter, hugs, and the hum of conversation filled the room as women of all ages arrived, some in groups of friends, others alone, but they were quickly welcomed into the circle. Organizers had made every detail intentional, from the warm hospitality to the carefully chosen theme of unity and hope.

A Voice From Abroad: Dr Adrienne F. Evans
The centrepiece of the day was the keynote address delivered by Dr Adrienne F. Evans, a guest speaker from New York whose reputation as an inspiring voice for women preceded her. She is known internationally for her work in coaching and empowerment.
Her presence was magnetic. She spoke with conviction but also with tenderness, allowing her audience to feel as if she were speaking directly to each one of them. Her message focused on resilience, vulnerability, and the importance of community in navigating life’s challenges.
“The gifts and strengths that you have, don’t compare them, spend your time embracing them and developing them and give them the best version of you that you impossibly can,” she shared.
Dr Evans reminded the audience that womanhood is not just about responsibility or sacrifice, it is about identity, worth, and connection.

The Importance of Uplifting Women
Events like the Hadassah Women’s Conference are not just about inspiration. They are about rewriting the narrative around womanhood. Too often, women are expected to be the silent pillars of strength, carrying burdens without acknowledgment. This conference challenged that expectation by reframing vulnerability as a form of power and by celebrating women not only for what they do but for who they are.
These programs bring a ray of light to the community. They provide something for the community to look forward to by offering a Saturday experience. These programs are a representation of women coming together to support one another.
🌷 The day was more than a conference. It was a powerful reminder that women, when united, transform obstacles into opportunities and survival into success.

A Lasting Impact
As the day drew to a close, the room carried an energy that was both calm and powerful, and the kind of quiet strength that comes after being deeply moved. Women exchanged hugs, and left with lighter hearts than when they arrived. Food was also distributed to everyone and there was a little cake that filled the hearts of these women.
The Committee members had achieved what they set out to do. Not only to host a conference but to ignite a spirit of hope and belonging. In bringing women together, celebrating their worth, and amplifying their voices, the event planted seeds that will continue to grow in homes, workplaces, and communities.
Dr Evans’s words lingered in many minds as the sun set over Eastridge:
“We might speak a different language, we might dress differently but we have the same insecurities, we have the same heart, we have the same expressions, dissapointment, discouragement, hurt, we have the same dreams and gets discourage and smashed, no matter where I go people have dreams! ”
For the women who attended, the conference offered not only encouragement but a vision of hope for what lies ahead. The committee created a Saturday that will be remembered as a moment of unity, strength, and lasting impact for the community.
